How much love and how much care can one see in a small restaurant in the heart of Bornheim Mitte? Welll, Zum Dicken Fritz has a lot of it. We have seen this restaurant many times,and always wanted to eat here as it seems as a typical traditional German speiserestaurant. We were not disappointed. The owner is kind and attentive, and he is the waiter and chef. The food is delicious, and it really makes one think that it is our own grandpa cooking for us. It has a very clear homemade taste. The place makes you travel to another time, but you can see the attention and care in the small details. The menus, the decoration, the walls which have been recently painted. The prices are *very* reasonable, and there are many offerings in the menu. I had the mushrooms with steak, which was delicious. The homemade taste made me think of my family, and to another time where things were more simple. A special note to the facilities, which are super clean. Just bear in mind, this is a slow food place. That means , don't come here rushing, and just enjoy the vibes, the good food, and your time here

Hier bekommt man ein gutes Essen zum absolut fairen Preis geboten. Die Karte ist umfangreich, es wird jeder fündig. Der Inhaber / Kellner / Koch bereitet das Essen mit viel Liebe zu. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen.
