We attended about 20 museums in Florence and not only saved a lot of money but explored places we would not see otherwise. Even most churches (like snt Croce and Medici Chapel) are not free to attend, so definitely worth it. Thank you!

The Firenze card is worth it because it saves you a lot of money if you want to visit the museums in Florence. However, I think they should be able to introduce the reservation posibility in the app so that you do not have to call internationally to make a booking (I did not want to risk making the booking once in Florence). Moreover, the fact that for each museum you have to go to an office to scan your Firenze card to get the actual tickets for that specific museum is outrageous. This is the whole point of a museum pass, to scan it at the entrance and go, not spend time and energy finding the place to get actuals tickets. All in all it was worth it only because of the price.

Avoid the FirenzeCard — it’s by far the worst tourist pass I’ve ever used, and here’s why: 1. It’s outdated. After buying it, you have to call their office (yes, an actual landline in Italy) just to book your main visits. They’ll give you a random booking number, and the staff often seem completely lost. 2. It doesn’t even work properly. When you arrive at the entrances in Florence, that booking number means nothing. You still have to wait in line like everyone else. 3. It’s not really worth the money. Depending on how many places you plan to visit, the savings are minimal. I’d rather spend a few extra euros and book tickets directly through each attraction’s website — it’s faster, easier, and way less frustrating.
