Koller Gallery, established in 1953, is Hungary's oldest private art gallery, located in Budapest's Castle District, near Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion. Housed in a three-story atelier-house, it showcases modern and contemporary Hungarian art, including paintings, sculptures, and prints. The free gallery is definitely a hidden gem and a welcome escape from the crowded tourist areas. There is a small but beautiful garden with sculptures and city views, particularly of the Danube and Parliament Building, from the upper floors. There is also a memorial room dedicated to artist Amerigo Tot. Visitors can explore works by renowned Hungarian artists and international contemporaries in a serene setting.
