Forno Campo de’ Fiori: un piccolo grande tesoro romano In una delle piazze più vivaci di Roma, questo forno storico sorprende per la qualità e l’autenticità dei suoi fritti. I supplì cacio e pepe, croccanti fuori e meravigliosamente cremosi dentro, sono probabilmente i migliori della mia vita: un vero concentrato di Roma in un morso, con il pecorino e il pepe perfettamente bilanciati in un ripieno che si scioglie come una carezza. Lo stile è quello della bottega vera, un forno rustico con sapore, dove la tradizione si sente in ogni ingrediente fresco, e ogni supplì sembra preparato con passione artigianale. Siamo entrati un po’ per caso, spinti da quel classico langorino di metà giornata. Nessuna aspettativa, solo voglia di qualcosa di buono… ed è scattato l’amore. Scelte del giorno: • un pezzo di pizza classica romana al pomodoro • una con scamorza e broccoli (consigliata dalla fornaia – santa donna!) • un supplì al ragù • e uno alla cacio e pepe La classica? Una bomba: croccante, ricca di pomodoro, zero secchezza, 100% soddisfazione. Quella con broccoli e scamorza? Superlativa, proprio come ci aveva promesso la fornaia. Ma il gran finale sono stati loro: i supplì. Il ragù era profondo, saporito, ricco. Quello alla cacio e pepe? Una crema che avvolge il cuore. Probabilmente i migliori assaggiati in tutta Roma. Una scoperta così non capita spesso. E sì, ne abbiamo girati a bizzeffe. Ma qui si torna.
