Excellent food, best kimchi in town, cosy, authentic atmosphere. I've been there many times, will go again. Highly recommend. Chapche is my favourite.

Food was great, only a few details that made me rate it 4 instead of 5. The 김밥 had mayo on, that (almost) never happens in Korea and wasn't really necessary. The 육개장 was delicious, but I missed the glass noodles that they typically use in korea (당면?). Kind service and kid friendly. I would come back

Been there at least 5 or 6 times. Food is usually quite good. Service, eh, is a mixed bag. Sometimes it's quite OK. Last time however we got appointed a smileless newbie who couldn't even answer the simplest questions, however refused to appoint a more knowledgeable colleague; brought us the rice (which normally automatically comes with BBQ) when we'd already finished with everything else, couldn't even split the bill between us, and as an icing on the cake produced a POS terminal that quite shamelessly asked for a tip. I however must say that usually it's nicer there and hope that this time's obvious failure to adequately serve their customers was only caused by the summertime staff shortage, and that Soraksans will get back to normal once the tourist season is over.
