Dried herbs, bundles of onions, orange pumpkins, wooden wheels, and miniature barrels filled with beer - in Province, time has turned back, preserving the charm of an era irrevocably lost to the past. The interior of the establishment is done in traditional Latvian style, and guests can settle themselves not just in the cozy dining room but also on the open terrace. The distinctive feature of the restaurant Province is its large, and sometimes simply gigantic, portions of any dish, ranging from mashed potatoes with bacon to the latest stewed vegetable salad.

Excellent location in town center. Friendly owner. Some stairs to climb, but definitely worth it. I will come back if it is available. Note that the entrance is near St Peters church (Southeastern part of the building)

Jak ktoś myśli o centrum miasta to, to jest właśnie to. W samym sercu Rygi. Wszędzie poruszaliśmy się pieszo. Wydaje mi się, że zobaczyliśmy wszystko a nawet więcej niż w przewodniku. Jedynym minusem jest to że mieszkanie jest na 5 piętrze bez windy. Oczywiste, bo to bardzo stara kamienica. Jest jeszcze na czarno białych fotach w muzeum Dom Czarnogłowych. Pod nosem są kawiarnie o koloru i wyboru, restauracje i sklepy z pamiątkami oraz małe sklepiki z artykułami codziennymi. Wszędzie jest blisko. Safety: Jest to kamienica do której nie wejdzie nikt kto nie ma kluczy. Wychodzi się albo n atyly kamienicy, gdzie jest parking tylko dla mieszkańców na niewiele aut, albo na główna ulicę między stoliki dwóch restauracji.

Fantastyczna lokalizacja, bardzo duże mieszkanie w samym sercu ryskiej starówki. Wokół dużo knajp i sklepów. Telewizor kineskopowy - ale panoramiczny! Dekoder TV ma aplikację YouTube. Super wygodne łóżko, a grzejniki mocno grzeją, więc idealne dla zmarźlaków. Uwaga! Bardzo wysokie schody - mieszkanie na ostatnim piętrze wysokiej kamienicy. Jak komuś jest ciężko wchodzić po schodach - może zapomnieć. Skrytka na klucze jest w innej klatce w innym budynku - na Google Maps ciężko się połapać. Ciepła woda z piecyka, słabe ciśnienie. W toalecie brak umywalki - trzeba iść do łazienki umyć ręce. Wybór filmów DVD tylko po rosyjsku, ale to akurat problem pierwszego świata. Walkability: Tylko dla pieszych! Nie dla osób na wózku.
