As a local, to all the foreigners out here: this place is probably the most authentic Latvian cousine you can get. It is really feels like you are visiting your fellow grandma somewhere deep in the Latvian countryside. Selection of food is not big, but very home-like. Portions are huge. Waiting time 20-30min (note, it was not crowded during our visit). As of drinks, some classical options like tea, coffee, beer, kvass and mulled wine are available. Here you also can buy some takeaway delicacies, as well as takeaway drinks and some souvenirs. As of service, don't expect Michelin quality service here, but still it is kind and welcoming. No table service here - don't be afraid to approach the staff yourself when you enter. As of price - 12eur for a meal and a drink per person as of October 2025. Worth a return.

Bardzo dobre lokalne, tradycyjne łotewskie potrawy w normalnych cenach. Do tego mój ulubiony kwas chlebowy. I bardzo miła , mówiąca po angielsku obsługa. To wszystko w oryginalnych wnętrzach.
