About

Nestled in the central area of Poznań, near the bustling MM Galeria on Swiety Marcin, Kościół św. Marcina stands as one of the city's oldest churches, dating back to 1252. This Gothic-style structure, with intricate alterations from the 16th century, offers a glimpse into the rich history of Poznań. Despite suffering damage during World War Two, the church was meticulously rebuilt, preserving its historical essence. Inside, visitors can admire an invaluable altar that beautifully depicts the life of St. Catherine, along with impressive stained glass windows that cast a serene light over the modest, yet somber, interior. Rated 4.6 on Google, this picturesque and atmospheric sanctuary is a testament to resilience, simplicity, and timeless beauty.

Kościół św. Marcina w Poznaniu, nadal okazały, powstał w 1253 roku, aczkolwiek budowano go etapami.

While away on a recent trip to Poznań, I attented Easter Sunday Mass at Święty Marcina. Lovely service, and beautiful old building. There's also Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto in the church grounds too. Pleasant experience being able to attend.

Church with stunning stained glass windows- looks a lot better than my picture! There is also a lady of Lourdes shrine behind the church
