This place has the most delicious pecan pie in the world! The shop ladies are very kind, and it’s the best place to enjoy some delicious treats in a medieval-themed setting. I highly recommend it to everyone. In October 2018, seven years ago, I traveled to Tallinn for work. While my friend and I were strolling around the Old Town, we accidentally discovered this amazing place. It was right next to a modern café, but we chose Hiiekivi Oü instead because its door and interior looked much more inviting to us. At the time, we didn’t expect much. But when I ordered the pecan pie and my friend got a chocolate cake, we were blown away. It was unbelievably delicious! That taste has been stuck in my mind ever since. Since 2018, I have traveled to many other countries in Asia and Europe. Wherever I went, I was always on the lookout for pecan pie! But to my surprise, not a single pie in any country could surpass the one I had in Tallinn’s Old Town. Every time, I felt disappointed, and my husband knew this well. Now, I am traveling to Iceland. Even though I could have flown directly there, I was thrilled to make a stop in Tallinn just for this pecan pie! As soon as I arrived by ferry, the first thing I did was walk straight—about 20 minutes from the port—to Hiiekivi Oü and order a pecan pie. The moment I took my first bite, I knew it was the same unforgettable taste I had been longing for all these years. No other pecan pie has ever come close. This stopover was worth every effort to make happen. Thank you so much for making such a delicious pecan pie. I will definitely revisit again in the future!

I came across this place by chance while walking in the Old Town and got in for a short stop. It was well worth it. The place offers sweet and savoury treats, coffee, hot or cold drinks in a cozy atmosphere.

A wonderfully cozy and welcoming cafe with lots of seating and really nice coffees and cakes to choose from! Relaxing place to spend a rainy afternoon with a game or a book.
