Nice comfortable cafe in downtown San Francisco

Changing to three stars now This place went down hill real fast and it’s becoming inferior option in this area. The drink is too sweet and the coffee in it is not tasty at all… The staff is super indifferent and unable to fulfill customer needs. I asked them to add Ube sauce into hot latte and they just told me no … the way they speak with me is condescending. Not planning to come back any time soon. Jan 2025 update The new deserts are amazing! My personal favorite is the ube cupcake and the passion fruit mochi donut. Amazing! ———— Fantastic little innovative coffee shop that is very welcomed to the community - especially after nearby Starbucks shutdowns

Espresso is bitter and sour without much other flavor. It also tastes slightly stale and burnt. The plant-based breakfast burritos are decent at least.
