If I had a pound for every time I've given a restaurant 5 stars & they had 'Work' by Charlotte Day Wilson on the playlist I'd have £2, which isn't a huge amount but it's weird that it's happened twice

i love this place. between the three of us we had guacamole, baja fish tacos, birria tacos, pollo asada tacos, and chorizo verde stuffed squid. the guacamole y totopos was a great starter to share. very basic but works well. corn chips topped with guacamole. we had 3 tacos - 1. the baja fish tacos were amazing. tempura battered pollock with jalapeño aioli and salsa mexicana. these were packed full of filling and flavour. a great choice if you’re a fan of fish tacos. 2. the pollo asada tacos adobo - spiced chicken, and stuffed full of salad, these were incredible tacos. the flavour of these worked so well with the spiced aioli. yum. 3. birria tacos were by far my favourite tacos. packed full of slow cooked beef shin and tatemada salsa, covered in grilled cheese - i was in heaven. these are a must have. and then we had chorizo verde stuffed squid. this really was the star of the show. served on a seaweed salsa, wow. the flavours in this were incredible, from the squid itself to the subtle herbal meaty filling. this is one you really need to try. this is a great tapas restaurant, all the dishes are perfect sharers with two of each taco. the drinks here are amazing, with a large selection of cocktails (and little ones to have between dishes too). the service was amazing and the atmosphere was unmatched. if tapas is your kind of thing then this is your next stop!
