A Hidden Gem Near Old Trafford – Emilia’s Della Roma Just a five-minute walk from Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Emilia’s Della Roma is an absolute gem of an Italian restaurant that blew me away. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and from the moment we stepped through the door, the staff – and especially the owner – couldn’t have been friendlier or more attentive. Let’s talk food: I started with the meatballs and honestly, they were the best I’ve tasted in years – rich, tender, full of flavour and served with a sauce that had clearly been made with love. Every bite was perfection. The rest of the meal didn’t disappoint either, with plenty of Vegan options too and to top it off, the price was surprisingly reasonable for such quality. You get proper homemade Italian food, great service, and a relaxed, authentic vibe – all without breaking the bank. If you're heading to the cricket or just fancy a top-notch Italian meal, make sure you stop by Emilia’s. It’s the kind of place you find once and then keep going back to.

We found ourselves unexpectedly staying the Hilton Garden Hotel at Old Trafford & wanted to eat out at an independent restaurant. Emilias came up as being relatively close by. It was a pleasant 20 minute walk (but 5 mins in a taxi). Being Sunday evening the restaurant was relatively quiet but we were met by a super friendly waitress who couldn't do enough for us. We so enjoyed our evening at this cute & authentic restaurant. The food was freshly prepared, served piping hot (hooray!) and was incredibly tasty. Not only this but the prices were amazing. Being pretty hungry we ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 sides & a bottle of red and the bill was around £55. Loved the complimentary limoncello at the end of our meal. We definitely weren't hungry when we left! Thank you for your hospitality, love visiting independent neighbourhood restaurants like yours. ps my husband says you cook the best meatballs ever!🙂

Great food and decent service. Also, it's far better value than any other restaurants in Urmston or Chorlton. Highly recommended and will certainly return.
