Coach Review – Improver Trial Session (Volleys Focus) I recently had a trial session with Arif Mithia as an improver-level player, and it was a fantastic experience—especially as we focused on improving my volleys. The session was well-structured and tailored to my current skill level, with just the right balance of instruction, drills, and encouragement. Arif broke down the key elements of good volley technique clearly—footwork, positioning, grip, and timing—making it easy to understand and apply. The volley drills were both challenging and rewarding, and I noticed a real improvement in my confidence and consistency at the net, even within a single session. What really stood out was the coach’s ability to correct small technical issues without overwhelming me, and to keep the session fun and motivating throughout. It was clear they were focused on helping me build solid foundations to take my game to the next level. Highly recommend for anyone looking to sharpen their net game or build confidence in volleys.
