We went to have dinner at Wahaca because it was getting late and it was difficult to find safe gluten-free options in London at that time. The waiter and the manager of the restaurant treated us exceptionally well. They clearly explained the potential risks of cross-contamination, and they were very careful and thorough to ensure there were no issues. We enjoyed a delicious guacamole with great totopos, and two kinds of tacos – chicken and pork – both highly recommended. The Latin music playing in the background created a nice atmosphere, and we’re truly grateful they served us so kindly even though we arrived close to closing time. Fuimos a cenar a Wahaca porque se nos hacía tarde y era complicado encontrar opciones seguras sin gluten en Londres a esas horas. Tanto el camarero como el responsable del establecimiento nos atendieron fenomenal. Nos explicaron con claridad los posibles riesgos de contaminación cruzada, y tuvieron mucho cuidado y rigor para que no hubiese problemas. Disfrutamos de un guacamole delicioso con buenos totopos, y de dos tipos de tacos – los de pollo y los de cerdo – muy recomendables ambos. La música latina de ambiente era agradable y solo podemos agradecerles que nos atendieran con tanta amabilidad a pesar de llegar cerca de la hora de cierre.
