A Flawless Ladies' Birthday Dinner Before I delve into the details, let me say this without hesitation: do not walk—run—to book a table at Skewd Leicester Square. From the moment we arrived (admittedly late, due to traffic), the team could not have been more accommodating. A quick call to explain our delay was met with understanding—no fuss, no issue. (Star point!) Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles and patience. The staff even indulged us as we took the obligatory ladies’ dinner photos before being seated—another lovely touch. (Another star point!) Once settled, we were promptly given our menus. Youlanda, the maître d', was an absolute gem—she took her time to explain the options and offered excellent recommendations. (Loved this!) Complimentary olives arrived shortly after, followed by our sharing starter: a selection of dips with delicious, freshly baked bread. (A definite win!) Paired with our cocktails, it was the perfect start to the evening. The mains took a little longer to arrive, but the wait was well worth it. The Ocean Kebab was cooked to perfection, and the triple-cooked fat fries were superb. The seabass arrived expertly filleted and was served with fragrant spicy rice—another triumph. Though comfortably full, we couldn’t resist glancing at the dessert menu. Wisely, we declined… until the birthday surprise arrived: a generous Eton Mess Cheesecake, big enough to share! (The perfect sweet finale!) Skewd Leicester Square, thank you for an unforgettable evening. We’ll be back—and we’ll be recommending you to everyone!

Yolanda was an amazing host, she went above and beyond to make our friends birthday an amazing experience. She talked us through the menu and made suggestions which was helpful. The food was cooked perfectly however with preference I would say the ocean dish I ordered would need more seasoning and the chips were perfect. Overall a great night.
