Amazing service, amazing food!

I booked a table for last Friday for five of us, for 18.30. We were 10 minutes late due to traffic, but the restaurant was very understanding and kept the table for us. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we first arrived, but it quickly filled up. Service was good at first, but as the evening went on it went downhill. Our waitress was friendly and apologetic, but we waited for ages for almost everything we ordered, at times we were completely forgotten. There was a much larger group than ours who were served quicker; they arrived after us but recieved their food before us. Our waitress was nice, and she did explain that they were short staffed having had two team members call in sick. The food, when it arrived was excellent; but service was painfully slow. We waited so long to place our dessert orders, after which the waitress returned to say they'd sold out of some of the dishes we ordered. Maybe we were just unlucky to have booked a table that night. But overall, it wasn't a great experience. I would possibly visit again, as the food was delicious. But, going on this experience, I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, there are many other similar restaurants in the area which provide much better customer service.

Ana looked after us so well and made us laugh so many times. We came in quite late and they served us quickly - the food was so delicious and fresh. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!
