⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mixed experience at IXCHEL IXCHEL restaurant has the potential to be an absolute gem. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the menu offers a great variety. During my lunch visit, several dishes were full of flavour and presented well, with prices that seemed reasonable for the location. However, not everything matched the hype. The tacos were disappointingly soggy, which took away from an otherwise enjoyable meal. More concerning is the issue with tips: staff do not actually receive all of them. Instead, tips are reportedly used to offset basic salaries, with service charges going into management’s pockets rather than directly to staff. That practice leaves a sour taste, given how hard the team works front of house. In short: great setting and service, but the food and fairness behind the scenes need attention before IXCHEL can truly live up to its promise.

Came in for dessert and a drink. We were welcomed by the lovely Jalal who immediately made us feel at home. We ordered the tres leches cake, which was an absolute delight. The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is quite appropriate. We loved it!

Delicious food, great and attentive service. Came here for a quick snack and had their 4-5pm menue (limited selection until dinner). Everything was great, loved the ensanada, the guac, especially the crunchy potatoes! TELL ME HOW DO YOU MAKE THEM THAT CRUNCHY. Good stuff!
