Having had two mixed experiences in Darjeeling Express over the years, we gave it another try and are very glad we did. Everything was spot on, especially the bhapa doi. I could eat that everyday and not get bored with it. The keema toastie was also delicious. We are already planning our next lunch. As for service, we had a lovely waitress who was constantly smiling. Nothing was too much trouble. She’s a real asset to the restaurant.

What an incredible dining experience at Darjeeling Express yesterday! From the warm service to the authentic flavors, everything felt truly special. A big shout-out to Priyanka M, our hostess, who was wonderfully attentive and supportive throughout the evening – she made us feel right at home. 💛 As for the food… absolutely unforgettable! The Keema Toastie, Methi Chicken, and Kosha Mangsho (mutton curry) were bursting with flavor, each dish beautifully crafted and full of soul. And to end on a sweet note, the Khoobani ka Meetha (featured on the Darjeeling Express menu) was the perfect dessert – rich, balanced, and heavenly. Highly recommend this gem if you want a dining experience that blends warmth, tradition, and taste all in one.
