I visited the Coffee Island branch on Edgware Road this morning and had a disappointing experience. I asked for my coffee to be served in my own reusable cup, as I usually do at other branches. However, the staff member filled it only halfway. This has never happened before — other locations typically fill it reasonably, even if not to the brim. It felt like the staff member was dismissive, and the service lacked the usual courtesy I’ve come to expect from Coffee Island. Using my own cup should be a win-win: it saves the company the cost of a disposable cup and supports sustainability. But today, it felt like I was penalized for it. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I genuinely enjoy Coffee Island and want to continue supporting it. Please ensure consistency across branches and train staff to treat customers with respect and fairness.
