it looks there have been changes at the woodhouse. not just the decor, the kitchen as well.We had a reservation for 2.30 and were there bang on time. got our table and ordered drinks which came in good time. It took some time for staff to come back and take our food order (I'd say areound 15 mins). It then took nearly an hour and me asking the manager wha the delay was to get the food. Our meal was tasty but I thought the portion was smaller and I was missing the shard of crakling that previously came with the Pork Belly roast. These little things added up to a not great experience and we left ourselves asking if we could still find the value in the price for the meal anymore. We came to get an experience we couldn't have at home and both agreed we could have easily done what we had in half the time and half the price!

We've just had a lovely afternoon at the Wood House to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food was great - I'm vegan and was very pleased to find a good choice of vegan food on offer. Our servers were lovely - Sam was able to help with questions about vegan food and Destiny was happy to tweak my black coffee to my taste. They were both helpful, polite and seemed happy in their work.
