What a great little pub. I’ve lived near PJ’s for years and never been in. I’m glad I finally did. Didn’t have any food, but the beer was nice and it was £3.90 for a pint of Guinness!

**A Proper Hidden Gem in London!** This place has such a great atmosphere with top-notch service from the staff. Saturday nights are always a blast with live bands playing a mix of Irish tunes and classic hits from the 60s through the 90s. There’s always something happening — from GAA games to football matches — all shown on big screens throughout the pub. Sundays are sorted too, with the ultimate hangover cure: free(!) sausages and spuds — yes, *really* free! Drinks go up a bit after midnight, but they’re still reasonably priced for London. Happy hours run from opening until 7pm on weekdays, and up to 2pm on weekends — £3 for a pint of Strongbow, then £4 after (though best to check, just in case). Getting there is easy, with the Piccadilly line right across the road (and it runs all night on weekends, which saves on cab fare). That said, the staff are happy to call a cab for you if needed. As a woman, I’ve always felt safe there, which is a huge plus. During the week, it’s got a chilled-out vibe with a pool table and darts. All in all, just a really nice, cool pub — definitely worth checking out!

If you’re in the area and looking for an authentic Irish boozer, or just a decent pub, I couldn’t recommend this place more, don’t judge it by the outside aesthetic. The other pubs in the area will charge you more and offer less. Friendly staff, fast and friendly service, sports on tv, social activities offered. I’ve the past 10 years this would be my pub of choice
