Free juice coffee tea etc Free biscuits and crisps Expected a little bit more from a first class lounge The line to enter was long Top tip,don't stand in a long line to use lift to enter Use the elevater behind you and walk to the lounge

Basic offering, and badly in need of replenishing the last few times I've been in. Indifferent staff on the whole. It's busy but with a more effective operation it could be enhanced. It's not 'free' as such as the 1st ticket is costlier than a standard one. However it's a welcome retreat from the busy concourse while waiting for your train.

This was the first time travelling first class with LNER and I enjoyed having a more private space to wait with simple complimentary drinks and snacks. I got my moneys worth along with the journey itself, which was fantastic. It got quite crowded at times in the lounge, but that is understandable with it being a busy station.
