I have to say the best service we have ever experienced in London. We have been coming for 20 x years but Madeline (I hope I’ve spelt that correctly) surpassed everything we have experienced at Claridges and every other London venue we have entered. She is above and beyond what could possibly be expected of someone providing a unique experience in cartridges bar. An absolute asset to your business and will ensure our continued returns. Well done Claridges and well done Madeline

Technically this is more a Dante, the NYC legendary cocktail bar that was responsible for the re-discovery of the Negroni cocktail, thanks to their dedication to the craft of doing extremely well the classic cocktails, thus setting a benchmark that is difficult to beat, or even replicate, with such consistency. We had ( there were 3 of us ) the Dante Garibaldi, the Dante negroni, the Mezcalito, the Unlikely, the Dante Hugo Spritz, plus, as we were peckish, we ordered the tomato salad, the Iceberg wedge salad, the Mare misto, 2 dauphinoise potatoes, 1 portion of french fries. The service is impeccable, the staff that served us were incredibly helpful, smiling, polite, and very efficient. The food was excellent as well, the tomato salad was so good it reminded me if the quality of the tomatoes we used to have in the south of Italy, where they taste of summer, of the sun, of the mount Vesuvius. It was an amazing dish, simple yet delicious. The same happened with the iceberg wedge salad, and the mare misto. Just because those are simple dishes, do not think that they are easy. You would be surprised to see how many “established “ restaurants do fail when cooking the same thing. We were there for a long time, definitely more than our allotted time limit. As expected, they never rushed us, and, all in all, this was a perfect experience from the beginning until the end ! Thank you !
