We eat at Kin Khao Cafe for the first time at the start of August, after looking at the online recommendations, though really I was looking for a Malaysian style menu and the cafe servers Thai food. Cooked fresh the food was very tasty and the settings are quite authentic. If you have ever travelled to South East Asia you will feel very much at home and welcome at the cafe. At the time we visited all the staff were Thai ladies, very polite and more than helpful to cater for my vegan diet. Definitely worth a visit if you want Thai food in Exeter.

We have eaten here many times both dine in & takeaway. Delicious, friendly cafe atmosphere, cooked to order. I have only marked down as we had a takeaway & one of the meals barely filled half the container, certainly didn't constitute a meal. When a raised this via email I received no reply, I mentioned it again on our following visit. Resent the email in front of them with the vague response that they would reply. Some three weeks later, still no reply. From memory the meal that fell short was a No 10, do not expect a full meal from this. If it hadn't been for the lack of response this review would have been 5 stars.

We randomly chose Exeter, and then picked this restaurant on Google Maps without much thought. To our surprise, it turned out to be a real hidden gem! The place has a lovely Thai vibe, and the food was excellent. We ordered Pad Thai, Thai iced milk tea, and crispy pork with rice. The crispy pork was absolutely outstanding—perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender inside. Overall, a fantastic dining experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back.
