I’m really disappointed with my recent visit to Greggs. I went in to buy some food yesterday (31/08/2025), but the experience was unexpectedly unpleasant. The staff were noticeably rude and dismissive toward me, while I observed them being friendly and polite to other customers. It felt like I was being treated differently, and that’s not something anyone should experience when simply trying to grab a bite to eat. I usually enjoy Greggs, but this visit left a bad impression. I hope the team at this branch reflects on how they treat all customers, everyone deserves to be spoken to with respect and courtesy.

“This branch made us feel like outsiders. Staff had one attitude for locals—warm and polite—and another for us—rude, dismissive, and careless (didn’t even heat our food). Completely unacceptable and degrading.”

The servers’ attitude was unacceptable snarky and unnecessarily rude. If it’s not possible to warm food upon request, that’s fine, but it should be communicated politely, not with disrespect. What’s even more upsetting is that the customer ahead of us was treated pleasantly, yet when it was our turn, their demeanor completely changed. It felt like we were being treated differently because we were brown, which is deeply disappointing. Truly a horrible experience.
