Great venue for concerts , well staffed and maintained. Unfortunately being out of the city centre there’s little accommodation nearby and difficult to get taxi after events even though pre-booked - but that’s on the taxi drivers! Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for a walk!

It is a pretty long walk from the city centre. Ok for public transport going there but no chance of it after a big gig. The venue itself is grand, plenty of bars, food stalls and toilets. The view of the stage is good. The biggest problem as a concert venue is the quality of the sound for the main crowd area. For the Fontaine DC gig the sound was under powered and unclear.

Huge outdoor venue usually holding 40,000 or more people at popular events , of which there are many in the summer months, Major music artists are usually sold out totally months in advance , so check and book early . You won't be able to ring a taxi either to take you to or from the event as no e wil attempt to go near the place as all roads are choc-a-block with traffic. The event I attended was Fontaines DC and KNEECAP both were professional energetic and fun , with huge crowds singing and dancing and cheering .Everyone, bands included, just loved the music and atmosphere . I'm definitely checking the events next year!
