The neat and tiny Dei Cavalieri restaurant can rightfully be considered the establishment with the best pasta in all of Italy. They make it here according to a special recipe and serve it not only with tomatoes but also with olives, garlic, and even squid.

The restaurant's interior is modest and succinct-just the kind that doesn't distract from the meal and live conversation. The head chef is famous for his vegetable appetizers with artichokes and shrimp, which are served on special wooden planks.

Dei Cavalieri stays open late, and in the evenings, it is often frequented by whole families with children. Incidentally, there's a separate menu for kids, and high chairs are available for the little ones.

Se potessi aggiungere altre stelle, lo farei! Non mi capitava da un bel po' di tempo di mangiare così bene. Oggi mi sono recata con mio marito e mio figlio in questa bellissima osteria. E finalmente niente di finto, di turistico, di artificiale.... Solo dell'ottimo cibo, magistralmente preparato. Abbiamo preso gli antipasti e già lì le nostre papille gustative si sono svegliate. Poi un primo con tagliatelline coniglio e asparagi che sono state talmente buone che non ho voluto prendere altro. Volevo preservare quel sapore più a lungo possibile. Mio marito ha preso anche il dolce e il caffè (persino il caffè era ottimo, non è scontato). E poi la simpatia delle signore che ci hanno accolto in sala. Belle, simpatiche e "generose". Sarà il nostro riferimento a Pisa sperando di tornarci quanto prima possibile. Grazie davvero di cuore..... E di pancia.

Un accueil très agréable, un service au top et rapide. Possibilité de parler anglais, et de consulter le menu en français sur leur site. Le repas était excellent (sanglier et mezze aubergine), il est possible de prendre du vin au verre. La panacotta était succulente et le café également. Bref nous sommes ravis de notre premier repas à Pise et recommandons cette adresse
