The food was amazing and very authentic. Every dish was prepared with care, the flavours were rich, the portions were generous, and everything was beautifully presented. The restaurant had a charming, homely vibe, and it felt more like dining in someone’s home than a typical restaurant. Gianni and his wife were very friendly, welcoming and happy to chat. Booking in advance is recommended, as it’s a fairly small restaurant.

MY NEW FAVOURITE RESTAURANT IN PHUKET! We dined in Gaetana tonight for our wedding anniversary and it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time! The staff and the owner make you feel special as soon as you walk in the door, and the ambience is cosy chic Italian. My Mai Tais were the best and freshest-tasting I’ve had in Phuket. We both had carpaccio for starters, my husband had the beef and I had the octopus- both were delicious. My crab linguini main course was yummy and I pinched one of my husband’s lamb cutlets and it was so tender and flavourful. My tiramisu dessert was heavenly and my husband’s raspberry sorbet tasted of the freshest raspberries, it was gorgeous! We will definitely be eating here again and I plan to introduce our friends to this absolute gem of a restaurant.
