Tiene las cosas típicas de un mercado, así como la posibilidad de tomar algo en alguno de sus bares y restaurantes, no diverge mucho, en este sentido, del Mercado de San Antón o el de San Miguel, en Madrid. Diría que el ambiente es pintoresco, y que encaja con el 10e Arrondisement… pero el caso es que, una vez cerrado, a horas nocturnas, sus escaleras son punto de encuentro de personajes que no transmiten excesivo buen rollo.
