Food was excellent and the triple fried chips were delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was also great and no skimping on the sauce. We enjoyed chatting with the new owner and chef who were both very friendly and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere for a quiet weekday lunch.

Came in for a random rainy day beer/lunch after working in the area. No problem parking my car and a big van right outside. Really nice, proper pub! Nice new outside huts that means the garden is still usable in the wet. The guys were really nice and welcoming (also to my dog). My mate's burger looked amazing and he said it was as good as it looked. I chose a high end beer and it was still less than a cheap one in most Oxford pubs. New favourite out this way!

Went for Sunday roast . The staff were lovely and the food was amazing . Definately a gastro pub. The roast potatoes were incredible . Would definately go again .
