Definitely better than average food and a nice atmosphere. Prices are not cheap but quite reasonable and fair for the quality.

Delicious pies, fairly priced, walled garden, friendly service. I particularly enjoyed the beef and stilton pie. The pastry was crisp and flaky. £16 with loads of chips and well executed homemade gravy is frankly a bargain. They also have real ale and flat ciders, showing that they are in fact a proper pub. You should come here next time you can
