Service rapide, personnel à la hauteur, cuisine savoureuse, plat bien présenté et voilà bien longtemps que je n'ai pas dégusté un bon café liégeois...... Un vrai. Je recommande cette adresse et j'y retournerai avec plaisir.

Edit: New Ownership! After one or two years with owners who did a really bad job, La Pignata is back with some new owners who seem to know what they are doing! Well, based on one visit, anyway. It re-opened under their ownership on 21 July 2025, apparently. It is cleaner and smarter than before, with a menu that is much more restricted and less fancy. We had a couple of the most expensive dishes on the menu, so cannot speak to the quality of the burgers and pizzas, but what we ordered was copious and delicious (see pictures). Definitely will go back. Original, pre-2024 review: One of my favourite local haunts. Simple decor - nothing fancy - but really good cooking, served copiously and with a friendly informal manner. The are usually many choices on the menu, and some are unusual - not just steak frites. Allow a few extra minutes for parking a little way up the road. Why 4 stars not 5? Because it's not fancy. So 5 out of 5 for what it is, but only 4 on an absolute scale.

Restaurant remis à neuf avec les nouveaux propriétaires. Service et ambiance au top. Ont y est très bien reçu par toute l'équipe. Nous avons très bien mangé, aucune fausse note. Les desserts sont excellents. Sans oublier la propreté c'est un 20/20 !!! Restaurant qui mérite le détour.
