As a self proclaimed pizza connoisseur, I can honestly say that Maurizio Polidoro’s pizza is probably one of the best, if not the best pizza in the world! His passion comes through in every pizza he makes. The pizzeria is located in a suburb of Naples so you’ll need your own wheels or a taxi to get to it but you won’t regret it! Maurizio is not an only a great pizza chef but an excellent host who took time off his busy schedule to have a chat with us. A pizza is made with a few simple ingredients, but passion is something that cannot be substituted. So if you’re visiting Naples, Pompeii or are just passing through on your way to the Amalfi Coast, come and try his pizza, well worth the stop!

Great restaurant with the best pizza. The owner is super friendly and will be your chef, host and waiter. He even seat with us to enjoy a meloncello, a homemade licor like lemoncello but made of melon. Don’t judge this magic place for its surroundings, the restaurant is squeaky clean, come inside and enjoy the best pizza you will ever have. I would give this place an 10 start rating, but 5 is all we can do here. Fare warning, get your google translator ready because this is an authentic experience, also come very hungry because you will wanna eat it all.
