Recommended by a friend, we picked up some cookies and a cake from Dandelion Vegan... and wow, just wow! The cookies were the perfect balance of soft and crisp, with just the right amount of sweetness. The cake was wonderfully spongy, and the frosting was light and fluffy without being too rich. You can really tell the owner puts so much care into every product. A true gem for vegan treats in CDMX!

I’m scared that the cake I ordered from dandelion vegan is the best cake I’ve ever had in my life, and that I’m going spend the rest of my life searching for something so perfect 😭 and this is coming from a vegan who has lived as a vegan in Los Angeles for many years and eaten at some of the top vegan restaurants/bakeries in NYC, Zurich, Nairobi, etc. I ordered a chocolate cake with red berries (which is my absolute go-to birthday cake order and has been for years) and I can’t even describe how delicious it was. First the chocolate was so dark and rich and sweet (but not too sweet) it’s like it came straight from Oaxaca. Second, the filling/frosting was so light and creamy, kind of like cool whip texture as opposed to buttercream, and it didn’t taste like plant-butter or cheap sugar, it literally tasted like heaven. And no one who ate the cake with me thought it was vegan. So if you’re reading this, do me the personal favor of indulging in a cake for yourself or your party from dandelion vegan. Mil gracias 🙏🏾
