I had not eaten at the Tung Fong for many years. My recollection was that the food was pretty typical of a suburban Chinese - ok, but far from the quality found in a Chinatown. This time I was very impressed by the quality. It would have been difficult to find better in Manchester city centre. All three dishes were good and in generous portions. I particularly appreciated the minced pork with green beans. The beans were cooked just enough, and there was the right balance of chilli that didn't overwhelm the flavour of the pork. A very enjoyable experience.
