My mum and I were in Manchester for a couple of days and I wanted to treat her to Afternoon Tea...This isn't always easy as I am both gluten and diary free. But I cannot give King Street Townhouse a high enough review! I'm always so nervous being gluten and dairy free when it comes to eating out, particularly afternoon teas, most places just buy packaged stuff. BUT EVERYTHING WAS FRESH AND HOMEMADE and it was delicious, chocolate cake, scones, lemon cake, sandwiches, tart, macaroon, ALL GLUTEN AND DIARY FREE...I couldn't believe it. Top class service too in a beautiful setting
