Neighbourhood dining at it's finest! We went to the Oystercatcher for the first time for date night and we will definitely be back. We had a few oysters to start with the Vietnamese dressing which was a surprisingly nice way to have oysters. Perfectly balanced. Then we had the scallops and the king prawns. The scallops were massive, so tender and paired perfectly with the puree. The prawns were again, absolutely huge and came with sourdough which soaked up all of the sauce and aioli. For mains we had monkfish and swordfish. Both were outstanding. I preferred the monkfish just because of how meaty and juicy It was but you can't really go wrong. I saw the seafood platter on another table and that looked amazing too, so we'll be back for that! Overall I'd say one of the best dining experiences I've had in Chorlton. And walking distance to some great bars for after dinner!
