I'm always on the hunt for great North Indian/Pakistani food...it's my favourite cusine...and we are lucky to have a number of authentic places across MCR that serve it...from Cheetham Hill to Rusholme to Longsight and Levenshulme. These places aren't fancy...they are pretty basic cafe-style establishments where you order food at the front counter and sit at formica-top tables with plastic bucket seats...that's why it's unfair to give a rating for atmosphere. There are quite a lot of these types of eateries in the areas I've mentioned...but in each area there are 1 or 2 places where the food is a level above the others. Nehari House is in that top tier...it could actually be the best Pakistani food I've eaten in MCR. The Nehari (obviously) is standout...but everything we ate was just as good. It all came out quick and fresh...and the price for a large Nehari, large chole, large chicken pulao, 4 lamb chops, chicken tikka, 3 naans and 2 drinks...was an unbelievable £32!!!! This is a gem of a place 🔥❤️
