As usual, we ordered the steak ramen and chicken ramen. Normally, we love ramen at Maki&Ramen, but tonight something felt off. The flavors were different, the spice level wasn’t the same, and the quality just wasn’t what we’ve come to expect. The chicken had an extremely thick and oily outer layer, and I had to separate the excess fat onto another plate. The noodles were overcooked, and the steak was so tough we needed silverware to cut it. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing tonight compared to our usual experiences. However, it’s clean as usual and the staff is nice and kind..
