Went here for lunchtime yum cha. Waitresses were super attentive and quickly responsive but I thought we were slightly too rushed for the ordering as we were asked twice in the matter of 5 minutes. Dishes, the two roast chow mein was surprisingly good, it had a different touch to it that you wouldn’t find at other dim sum parlours which I noticed for some other dishes too. I was also slightly disappointed they didn’t have (or don’t serve at all) roast pork which is my favourite meat of the roast. Like the above we ordered beef cheung fun thinking it was a regular cheung fun with beef inside and soy sauce on the top, it was completely different as ours came in a sizzling hot plate with a satay sauce vibe to it. Though I wasn’t complaining when I had it as it was surprisingly tasty! The regular dim sums were pretty good, though was confused how some came with just 3 as they usually come in orders of 4. Not having too high hopes of the xiao long bao that was pretty juicy and pleasant also but the deep fried prawn dumpling was very very dry sadly. The worst 2 dishes for me were the crab meat dumplings which tasted like prawn meat rather than crab and the satay beef honeycomb tripe, which was decent after one but after I had another piece it had an incredibly foul aroma and made me feel quite sick. Overall a decent place with unique touches on specific dishes but unfortunately would go elsewhere for yum cha.

First time trying and the atmosphere of the restaurant was comfortable and not too loud, service was also good as staff were attentive and friendly. There is also a free car park. The food itself were ok, I think I’ve had better elsewhere for the same price. I was quite disappointed that they didn’t have pork belly for the three roast noodles we ordered and the duck had barely any meat, was literally bones. The satay beef cheung fun was interesting and different from other places I’ve had. The siu mai and har gao was nice but the tripe had some weird stench, didn’t really taste fresh. Overall it was ok, I think recommendations I’ve heard from others are that evening food is better, so might have to give it another go in the evening instead.
