Arrived unbooked but was given a table. Ordered 5 tapas and the sourdough bread, and 4 beers, all the food was really nice. Is it boring too order the meatballs? Nah not really, creature of habit. Chorizo can be different from venue to venue but these were full of flavour with a soft meaty texture...they were excellent. What puts a downer on things is the service charge....the bill came to £103...£17 of which was service charge, did I pay it? Yes I did but on reflection I'm kicking myself. I always leave a tip but was the service above and beyond....no it wasn't, they want you to come into their restaurant and eat their food but they also want you to pay £17 for the food being brought to your table.....that's all that happened, they brought the food to my table and charged me £17. Doesn't sit right.
