Double zero is a remarkable local establishment. When you walk in you’re immediately welcomed by the warm embrace of the friendly, sufficient-in-number staff members. The casual attire of the diverse waiting staff, along with the “bring your own booze” notion gives a relaxing and welcoming vibe. The food is 5 star. A vast menu that regularly changes, featuring exciting ingredients on perfectly baked sour dough bases whilst simultaneously retaining an authentic Neapolitan aura. I get “The New Vulcano”, which is generously topped with fresh tasty chillies, n’duja ‘n’ pepperoni. I often precede this with their marinara as a true test of a quality pizzeria. The only slight negative to say about this place is my regular visits aren’t welcomed by my ever-dwindling bank account!

Saw this place by chance and Omg, what a find! Amazing food! Starter and pizza were so delicious there was no room for dessert - so we went back two days later and had another great pizza and amazing puddings. Elisabeth served us and was really personable as were all the staff. Highly recommend.

Food was absolutely gorgeous. The best pizza I've ever had. I got the special with caramelised onions, mushrooms, pesto base and goats cheese on and I have to say it needs to be on the menu permanently! It was delicious. Eventhough it was a busy night and we were a food order behind a big table of 20 I have to give props to the staff because the service was efficient and the food came out promptly! It was clear they prioritised not just the big table but the other tables aswell. I have to say that the service wasn't the best, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt because it was a busy night. Only thing I can say is the pizzas dont come cut and they dont give you pizza cutters to cut the pizza with. The knives that they give you are extremely difficult to use to cut the pizza. Maybe pizza cutters would be better on tables, as I did also notice some pizzas were getting sent back so the staff could cut them. Atmosphere would have been better if it was quieter as its quite a small restaurant, but they don't have control over that, I will be sure to return on a quieter night!!
