Nice atmosphere for a beer. Food looked really good and reasonably priced for the centre of Manchester.

Go here for the atmosphere. Its a wonderful place to have a drink. We did order their pies for our supper, and while they were "fine", they definitely did not taste homemade- more like an upscale industrial product reheated from frozen, ditto the veg on the side. Still, its a fun place to visit for the historical setting.

An airy and smart pub. This is a great place to meet friends. The food looks good but we've not tried it recently. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
