I WORKED at the APOLLO IN THE 70s TO 81 WENT TO APOLLO THEATRE IN OXFORD MY MANAGER THEN WAS JON BECKER I WORKED WITH NICK ROBINSON TOP BLOKE AND THE ONE AND ONLY ARTHUR..THE ASPLEY WAS A SECOND HOME FOR US HAD HAPPY TIMES THERE WITH CATH A GREAT WOMAN SADLY MISSED BY ALL AND JACK STILL POP IN WHEN I'M UP TO SEE MY MUM AND FRIENDS..KEEP GOING ASPLEY LEGEND OF A PUB FOR ALL WHO WENT IN... SADLY, I HAVE BEEN TOLD AS FROM TODAY,..08/08/2025 THE APSLEY COTTAGE PUB, HAS BEEN CLOSED DOWN BY THE FAMILY..😢..
