I went to see the living conditions of working class people at the time of the industrial height of Manchester. I was there decades ago and the room then was I think more indicative of the condition they would have lived in. There are too many items in the room now that I feel they would not have been able to afford. It is worth a visit.

Brilliant little museum. Interesting to walk down the old cobbled street and see all the different places that have been set up

Great place to take the grandchildren staff are very helpful and friendly The Victorian Street was so great my grand daughter asked to go back in
