Heaton Park Tramway is a small heritage tram line located inside Heaton Park, Manchester. It’s run by volunteers and usually operates restored vintage trams on weekends. At the moment, it’s closed due to electrical issues, but repairs are planned. When open, it’s a great low-cost activity for families or anyone interested in local transport history. The ride isn’t long, but it’s unique, and there’s a small museum at the depot. Easy to access via public transport, and worth a look if you’re already in the park. Check their site for reopening updates.
