Spent the afternoon at old hall on one of the Saturday open days . Very enjoyable and informative . It is run by very knowledgeable volunteers who are more than happy to talk about the history of the building . Children are welcome and encouraged to get immersed in the experience . Enjoyed the talk about the hall and learnt a lot of local history. The cafe is brilliant with lovely cakes . No problem with parking . We parked right outside on the main road and were given a parking permit in the hall. Alternatively the tram stop is just outside. I would recommend this place to everyone .

Had a lovely time. Visited with my mum who used to live on Stanton Street many years ago. Staff were very friendly. Very nice, quaint place. Cafe was very nice and cosy. Will visit again.
