La Pizzateca pizzeria is a unique establishment created by the architect and owner Alejo Ruocco. With the arrival of La Pizzateca in Madrid, a pun was born that speaks of "spiritual and material pizza," generously served in the capital.

Located in the Barrio de las Letras neighborhood, La Pizzateca occupies a tiny space on the ground floor of an old building. The furniture is limited to a wooden counter along the wall and a few high stools.

The pizza here is served in traditional Roman style or "Europeanized" into the familiar round shape. While their "Margherita" or "Rioja" is being prepared, guests can enjoy a book from one of the shelves and even buy it if they like the novel or mystery.

Una scoperta fantastica dopo giorni di solito cibo! Conoscendo i ristoranti "italiani" all'estero, che di italiano hanno poco, non ci siamo voluti sbilanciare troppo e abbiamo assaggiato una pizza tonda marinara (10€ diviso due): squisita, l'ho gustata con piacere! Impasto leggero, tipico romano basso, condimenti eccellenti. Hanno anche la pizza in teglia che vendono a tranci, e dalla tipologia di condimenti non ho riscontrato nulla di anomalo (cambiano i nomi, ma sono pizze che si possono trovare in qualsiasi pizzeria al taglio italiana). Insomma, una garanzia se volete fare una pausa italiana diversa da ciò che offre la città, o fermarvi per una pizza tonda (non hanno molti posti a sedere, consiglio l'asporto). Fui a cenar con mis hijos de 13 años y pedimos una pizza de atún y otra de jamón york para los 3. Estaban buenísimas!!!!!! Y el trato de todo el equipo fue exquisito! Muy amable, cercano y agradable. Lo recomiendo un 200%!!!!! Volveremos seguro!!

Restaurante italiano espectacular, pizzas grandes, de elaboración propia e ingredientes naturales. Postres caseros deliciosos. Ambiente agradable y cómodo, una opción ideal para almuerzos y cenas. Atención sobresaliente al consumidor. Enhorabuena y gracias!
