About

The restaurant La Bola first appeared in Madrid way back in 1870, and since then, it has delighted its guests with exquisite Spanish dishes cooked over coals. Only here can you discover what puchero is and savor authentic cocido madrileño, while inhaling the unforgettable aroma of crackling wood in the fire.

Interestingly, some dishes at La Bola require waiting for at least four hours, giving guests the perfect opportunity to stroll around the streets of Madrid and take in the local architecture. The restaurant itself has long been a landmark, cherished not only by Madrilenians but also by tourists. The interior, executed in Neoclassical style, abounds with wood and paintings, immersing visitors in the enchanting atmosphere of a gallery.

Baked lamb, boquerones, jamón, and many other culinary creations by the chef perfectly complement the refreshing moisture of red wine, which is almost invariably served with every order.
