I’ve been going to Eat my Trip in Madrid for years, always enjoying the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately the last couple of times I was quite disappointed with the quality of the dishes - especially the salmon in Guacascramble. The location in Malasaña has always been superior (it seems it’s under renovation now), today we went to La Latina: downstairs seating area was unbearably cold (I was told it was impossible to adjust since the place has a central system) and the upstairs was packed and noisy. I made a reservation and they couldn’t even find it in the system (luckily we arrived at a time where they had some tables available). Overall, it used to be a staple place I recommended to friends but I think I’ll need to find a new one.
